Job summary

SMTC Corporation in Fremont, CA is seeking a Program Planner to develop and execute production plans, ensuring material availability and on-time delivery. You will manage work orders, material planning, and production priorities while coordinating cross-functional teams to optimize flow and inventory.

The role requires experience with MRP, ERP systems, and strong analytical skills, plus a Bachelor’s in a related field and 3+ years in manufacturing planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field or equivalent.
• 3+ years in production planning or supply chain within manufacturing.
• EMS experience preferred and ERP/MRP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and release production work orders to meet demand and capacity.
• Analyze MRP recommendations to ensure material availability.
• Monitor schedules, WIP, and inventory; mitigate risks to on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.
