Job summary

GE Aerospace in Wilmington, NC is seeking a material/production planner to coordinate the flow of materials, plan production needs, and execute scheduling aligned with the production plan and KPIs. The role emphasizes internal collaboration, process improvements, and applying technical know-how to solve routine planning tasks.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree (or 4+ years experience) in material/production planning with at least 3 years in the field, and can work with ERP/MRP systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or a high school diploma with 4+ years of material/production planning experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of material/production planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage master planning, material processes and systems, and prepare/update production schedules and purchasing needs.
• Ensure alignment with production plan and KPIs; optimize inventory and drive process improvements.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and use analytics to solve problems.
