Job summary

Exelon Corporation is seeking a procurement professional to implement the supply chain process, manage inventory and drive investment recovery. The role requires collaboration with Category Managers and hands-on support for contracts, POs, and supplier performance.

The position is hybrid, based in Baltimore, MD, with in-office presence required three days a week and no relocation assistance. Strong sourcing, analytics, and Passport skills are preferred for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4–7 years' experience, or 6–9 years of relevant experience.
• Strong PC and computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Passport, Hyperion).
• Strong written and oral communication with organization, planning and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of Passport modules (Purchasing, Contracts, Action Tracking) and eSourcing tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize total cost and minimize risk.
• Support inventory management and investment recovery practices and forecasting.
• Source, manage, maintain, and implement contracts and purchase orders and monitor supplier performance.
• Resolve day-to-day process issues including invoices, POs, deliveries, and receiving.
• Monitor supplier performance trends, savings opportunities, and settlements.
• Oversee changes to customer requirements, requisitions, contracts, and supplier disputes.
• Support Emergency Response activities for Business Units.
