Job summary

Green Thumb Industries is seeking a Procurement Planner to join our hybrid Chicago team. You will handle purchasing, vendor management, contract negotiations, and day-to-day operations to support forecasted growth and market needs.

You will develop operating plans, optimize supplier partnerships, track orders in the ERP system, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency across assigned spend categories.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in manufacturing or CPG procurement operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to negotiate and manage supplier performance and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Purchase orders in ERP system and vendor coordination.
• Develop operating plans to support forecasted growth and market needs.
• Manage supplier performance and relationships; drive cost efficiencies.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers.
• Monitor open purchase orders for on-time delivery and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Innovation, Brand, Project Team).
• Lead process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
