Job summary

Qualifications

• Familiarity with purchasing concepts and procedures.
• Ability to negotiate price and terms under pressure.
• Experience in high volume procurement environments.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to make complex decisions with limited supervision.
• Ability to interface with vendors and internal customers with tact.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, award and administer procurement actions for commercial and Government-funded requirements.
• Manage procurement for capital equipment, software licenses, services and hardware per specifications and drawings.
• Provide proposal support as required.
• Use ERP systems to track and report data.
