Job summary

Responsibilities include negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and driving continuous improvement to mitigate supply chain risks while balancing cost, quality, and delivery.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of progressive procurement/supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum of 5 years leading procurement teams.
• Experience with strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, supplier development, and inventory management.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and their procurement applications.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office Suite skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organization’s procurement strategy to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
• Oversee day-to-day purchasing for direct and indirect materials, ensuring timely procurement.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate favorable commercial agreements to optimize costs.
• Drive continuous improvement within procurement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance cost, quality, delivery, inventory and supplier performance.
• Build and mentor a high-performing procurement team to achieve strategic objectives.
