Conflux Systems in Charlotte, NC is seeking a seasoned Commodity Manager for a 12-month contract. You will lead the Commodity Circle, define the ecosystem strategy, and manage key supplier relationships. The role requires strategic thinking, deep supply chain knowledge, and the ability to drive cost savings across the organization.

Extensive experience in procurement, contract negotiation, and risk management is essential. The position supports hybrid work with minimal in-office days.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Experience in supply chain, purchasing, sourcing, engineering or similar function in machinery industries.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Commodity Circle in respective area of responsibility with cross-functional support.
• Define the Ecosystem strategy and align with business and GCMs.
• Manage commodities and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Prepare, negotiate, and manage frame contracts & price lists.
• Drive supplier relations and risk management across the circle.
• Travel 10–15% domestically and internationally.
