Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) Eastlake is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage inventory, place purchase orders with approved vendors for raw materials, machinery, tools and other supplies essential to operations. The role requires collaboration with production planning, engineering, and managers to ensure timely material availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent procurement experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement process from requisition through receipt of goods and services.
• Inventory management of raw materials, including cycle counts.
• Monitor supplier performance and conduct monthly supplier evaluations.
• Collaborate with production planning, engineering, and department managers to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Review and authorize release of purchase order payments.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
