Job summary

TD SYNNEX is seeking an Inventory Planner to build strong vendor relationships and manage stock levels across the supply chain. You will forecast demand, run weekly and month-end analyses, and ensure inventory costs are controlled. This role requires proactive planning, negotiation skills, and accuracy in SAP and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Strong relationship management and effective communication at all levels.
• Proven experience in inventory forecasting and business planning.
• Proactive, self-motivated and well-organised with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain vendor relationships and internal stakeholder alignment to optimize stock.
• Produce weekly forecasts and month-end views on inventory and costs.
• Monitor sales vs. forecasts and keep stock within budgets.
• Maintain vendor price lists in SAP and ensure accurate inventory valuation.
• Provide weekly financial reconciliations (price changes, depreciation).
• Understand stock clauses in vendor contracts and enforce them.
• Lead quarterly vendor plans with the Business Manager to maintain stock profiles.
• Collaborate with BM and vendors to hit goals while minimizing stock risk.
• Identify and remediate problem stock areas with corrective actions as needed.
• Supervise and develop IPP Coordinators and ensure targets are met.
• Adhere to policies, oversee ad hoc IPP projects, and escalate as required.
