Freedom Technology Solutions Group in Chantilly, VA seeks a Senior Procurement & Finance Engineering Operations Lead to oversee procurement and financial operations, strengthen controls, and provide timely reporting. This role integrates procurement, finance, and engineering to align requirements with mission timelines and provide innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in procurement, finance operations, or vendor management.
• 10+ years in system engineering with experiences as Solutions Architect or Supply Chain Engineer.
• Education in System Engineering preferred (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• Broad procurement and financial operations knowledge with compliance-ready records.
• Proficiency with Excel, SharePoint, and contract repositories.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to discuss solution architecture options, align procurement priorities with mission timelines, and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Engage in continuous improvement to enhance procurement operations and financial accuracy.
• Provide guidance and operational support on purchasing workflows, renewals, and documentation standards.
• Develop and maintain procurement and finance policies, SOPs, and asset tracking procedures.
• Conduct regular reviews of contracts, renewals, and asset inventories for accuracy.
• Implement financial and procurement visibility enhancements via dashboards and reporting systems.
• Proactively recommend alternative solutions or processes for future needs.
