A procurement-focused firm is seeking a Procurement Buyer/Planner to manage purchase orders and material flows. Ideal candidates will have a BS/BA in Supply Chain and 8-10 years of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include placing orders, monitoring deliveries, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years of experience in a buyer/planner/material scheduler role.
• Expert applied knowledge of forecasting, MRP, and supply chain disciplines.
• Strong sense of urgency & attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders with suppliers for production materials.
• Monitor status of open purchase orders.
• Expedite or defer orders based on schedule changes.
