Job summary

Westrock seeks a Procurement Buyer III in Little Rock, AR, to lead sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management across commodities. The role emphasizes cost control and risk management, collaborating with Manufacturing, QA, R&D, and Finance.

You will develop multi-year procurement plans, manage vendor contracts, and drive continuous improvement in the supply chain while mentoring junior buyers and coordinating with Global Sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing plans to drive multi-year procurement and manage costs.
• Identify, source and assess trustworthy partners.
• Evaluate suppliers for quality, price, delivery and service.
• Negotiate and execute contracts, RFI/RFPs and vendor agreements.
• Coordinate with Global Sourcing to drive continuous improvement in the supply chain.
• Interface with QA, R&D, Manufacturing and Finance as needed.
• Manage plant purchasing card and document expenses.
