Job summary

Kin is seeking a strategic Pricing & Risk Manager to drive profitable growth across homeowners and related lines in state markets. You will own P&L, shape pricing, and navigate regulatory filings, partnering with actuarial, claims, distribution, underwriting, and tech teams.

You’ll lead rate-making, forecasting, and risk selection while driving cross-functional initiatives to improve processes and customer experience. This remote-first role supports growth from various states in the U.S.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in insurance product or pricing
  • 4+ years in relevant functional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, finance, actuarial science, economics, engineering, or a quantitative discipline
  • Direct insurance product management experience with state-level P&Ls and regulatory understanding

Responsibilities

  • Own P&L performance for multiple Southeast states across homeowners and auto lines.
  • Develop and execute state and product strategies for pricing, coverage, forms, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Lead regulatory filings and manage approvals for rate and product changes.
  • Collaborate with actuarial, claims, distribution, underwriting, and tech teams.
  • Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and scale.
