Job summary

ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Pricing Analyst in New Haven, CT, onsite, reporting to the Director of Strategic Pricing. You will manage quotations, ensure pricing profitability, and collaborate with field sales and cross‑functional teams to optimize pricing and compliance for distributor quotes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Pricing, Sales Operations, or related discipline(s).
• 3–5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably Building, Construction or Hardware Industry related.
• Proven negotiation and influencing skills with strong problem‑solving aptitude.
• Knowledge of pricing principles, market analysis and cost structures is a plus.
• Experience with pricing software, ERP systems, and/or CRM tools (Salesforce/JDE) and advanced Excel usage.

Responsibilities

• Review quotations for completeness, accuracy, compliance with pricing, profitability and legal guidelines.
• Communicate decisions and seek clarifications to facilitate approvals and meet quote turnaround.
• Analyze problems, coordinate actions, and respond to customer needs, pricing, products and competition.
• Track and report on approved quotations; understand how the quotation system works with ERP.
• Use JDE ERP to ensure data accuracy in quoting processes and translations.
• Provide monthly support to Pricing Managers to resolve customer billing issues caused by pricing errors.
• Lead or support quotation department projects impacting profitability and future system capabilities.
• Collaborate with Access & Egress Hardware Group to maintain up‑to‑date product and pricing knowledge.
