Job summary

Lactalis American Group in Buffalo, NY is hiring a Central Planner to manage short- and mid-term capacity, inventory levels, and interplant transportation. You will work with plant schedulers, CS, and Transportation Planners to ensure optimal finished goods availability and on-time delivery.

Experience in planning with a focus on inventory optimization is required; knowledge of Lotus Notes and Excel is essential, with APICS CPIM or CIRM certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with Planning, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
• 3–4+ years of related planning experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of planning processes and scheduling concepts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze plant capacity utilization and create capacity reports.
• Conduct inventory simulations to determine safety stock and inventory levels.
• Monitor finish goods aging and coordinate with distribution for optimal stock levels.
• Prepare and distribute activity and performance reports.
• Maintain planning system data and provide backup support when needed.
