Job summary

Colorado Department of Revenue seeks a Business and Performance Analyst to bridge business teams, developers, leadership, and the Governor's Office to translate strategy into impact. In the Innovation, Strategy, and Delivery unit, you will drive strategic planning and execution across technology investments.

You will work with project managers, product owners, and analysts to deliver application and organizational support services enabling legislative and strategic projects, with a focus on KPI

Qualifications

• Six years of experience as a business or performance analyst, with at least 2 years in KPI development in a federal, state, or county position.
• Combination of related education and experience in Business/Public Administration, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
• Education will substitute for required experience year-for-year.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, analyze, and communicate scope and systems requirements to maintain processes.
• Elicit and gather user and business requirements through open discussions and prototyping.
• Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Create and implement management plans with transparent communication at all levels.
• Perform quality assurance at every stage of systems development.
• Review and implement Test Plans and Test Cases based on requirements.
• Respond to customer requests to promote service and transparency.
• Act as liaison with internal DOR staff and the governor's office to support WIG development.
