Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Manager of Payroll Tax and Accounting to own end‑to‑end payroll tax compliance for 20,000+ employees across multiple jurisdictions. You will oversee filings, reconciliations, audits, and tax credits, while partnering with Corporate Tax and Treasury.

The role requires 7–10 years of progressive payroll tax experience, deep knowledge of US payroll laws, and strong leadership in a large corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Master's degree preferred in accounting, taxation, or MBA.
• CPA or CMA or CPP credentials preferred.
• Minimum 7–10 years payroll tax and payroll accounting experience in a large enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll tax compliance, filings, and related accounting controls.
• Lead cash funding, treasury, and payroll accounting activities.
• Collaborate with corporate tax and treasury on credits and reporting.
• Serve as Oracle HCM Cloud/USOPTE SME; drive system improvements and SOX compliance.
• Supervise a small payroll tax team and coordinate with vendors (ADP, Equifax).
