Job summary

Arista Air Conditioning, LLC in Long Island, NY is seeking a Purchasing Agent to analyze and execute service parts inventory procurement and deployment strategies to support sales plans and inventory goals. You will use data and communication skills to meet stocking policies and partner with Sales, Service, and vendors.

Responsibilities include negotiating with vendors, issuing POs, tracking orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records using UKG and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Source vendors and negotiate pricing for products and services.
• Issue, review, and verify purchase orders for accuracy.
• Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery.
• Resolve price/quantity/product availability discrepancies.
• Restock shelves and maintain organized inventory storage areas.
• Navigate and update Excel spreadsheets for purchasing/inventory.
• Assist Service Coordination in expediting parts.
