Job summary

The University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking a Business Engagement Manager to advance career readiness and experiential learning for students in Human Development & Family Studies (HDFS) and Community & Organizational Development (COD).

Working with faculty, alumni, and external partners, you will build partnerships creating internships, field placements, and mentorships that connect classroom learning with meaningful careers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading programs through planning to implementation.
• Experience engaging multiple stakeholder groups to advance shared goals.
• Ability to translate relationships into tangible opportunities (e.g., internships, projects).

Responsibilities

• Monitors portfolio activity and market share; disseminates updates to leadership.
• Evaluates existing strategies and recommends program enhancements.
• Supports personnel planning, training, supervision, and issue resolution.
• Identifies and implements new or revised unit policies and procedures.
• Plans and directs staff in implementing outreach events, programs, and research.
