Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Sr. Director, Strategic Partnerships to lead end-to-end onboarding and implementation of newly signed partners, ensuring go-live success.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, refine an implementation playbook, and drive distributor readiness, growth, and portfolio health while reporting to the VP of Partnerships. Travel up to 50% and stay aligned with commercial goals, ensuring seamless collaboration across BD, Sales, Analytics, Operations, and Finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 7–10 years progressive commercial experience in medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry.
• Direct experience onboarding/managing commercial partnerships or distributor relationships (field-based).
• Experience in long-acting pain management/specialty therapeutics strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end onboarding and implementation of newly signed partners to successful go-live.
• Set expectations, support structures, accountability frameworks, and coordinate partner training.
• Build/refine a repeatable implementation playbook to shorten time-to-go-live and standardize partner experience.
• Serve as central point of accountability during launch; resolve operational, contractual, and commercial issues.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure distributor readiness and product availability.
• Drive new partnership growth and expansion/maintenance of existing partner relationships.
