Job summary

Google is seeking a Strategic Partner Development Lead for Ads Platforms to open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions, and evaluate opportunities that drive advertising innovations. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide strategic leadership, and mentor managers and associates to advance key initiatives.

You will work with Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales to shape new product initiatives and strategic relationships that power Google’s online advertising

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, or 5 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience in the consumer electronics, auto, OEMs, telecom, e-Commerce/retail, apps, ads, gaming, or technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across multiple levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Drive product success with impactful partnerships.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities and build partnerships strategy and strategic business plans -- size market opportunity, competitive landscape, identify relevant partners in different regions.
  • Pitch to internal stakeholders and external partners globally; structure and close complex agreements.
  • Manage partner relationships globally to launch the agreement in collaboration with senior partner executives, and cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, UX, Legal, Finance, Marketing and Sales.

  • Experience in partner management including handling sensitive partnerships in policy-complex contexts.
  • Experience with partner management or business development in online advertising, data onboarding, or adtech.
  • Experience identifying partners, analyzing and structuring complex agreements with a proven track record of success in negotiation and execution.
  • Ability to balance competing tasks and manage multiple time-sensitive projects/agreements in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
  • Ability to be highly entrepreneurial solutions-oriented, creative, open-minded, and collaborative to grow in a team environment.

Partnerships are critical to enabling the Ads product areas most complex and strategic products. You will help drive the success of our Ads Platforms products and partnerships.

This team develops strategic partnerships to power and enable privacy-safe solutions for advertiser and publisher journeys on Google’s Ad Platforms that are critical to access advertiser demand, publisher inventory, measuring Google’s impact and generating insights. You possess strong strategic business development and relationship-building skills and are effective at communicating with both business and technical leaders. You are comfortable balancing multiple priorities, understanding products at a technical level, developing and executing strategic plans, making independent judgments, working across functions with internal and external partners, negotiating partnership agreements, and managing long-term partner relationships. You will have fun, learn a lot, and work with great colleagues.
