Job summary

Google is seeking a Strategic Partner Manager to manage a portfolio of YouTube creators identified as strategic to our business goals. You will drive product adoption and optimize across YouTube priorities, while assessing creators’ needs and helping grow their channels and revenue.

You will build relationships, negotiate, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver insights and strategies. The role offers collaboration across products like YouTube, Google TV, and Commerce.

Qualifications

  • Establish scaled strategic relationships with partners through different engagement types.
  • Drive product adoption, optimization across YouTube priorities and support creators in their content, business generation, and viewership goals.
  • Ensure your partner portfolio complies with YouTube’s Community Guidelines and policies and support them in navigating YouTube’s support and operations teams.
  • Engage with and understand the latest features, policies, and platform improvements to help partners succeed.
  • Manage initiatives to grow emerging creators, including workshops, events and other scaled initiatives.

Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking.
  • Experience in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in the video, media, entertainment industry, and experience as a YouTube creator or working with partners or creators.
  • Experience in an external-facing customer interaction role within customer support, sales, or relationship development.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, planning and time/pipeline management skills, with strong attention to detail.

Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

As a Strategic Partner Manager (SPM), you will manage a portfolio of YouTube creators identified as strategic to our business objectives. You will drive product adoption and optimization across YouTube’s platform priorities while also assessing creators’ needs and goals, crafting a plan to grow their channel, and delivering insights and strategy to enable their success on YouTube. You will deliver against partner performance metrics and core program KPIs to drive maximum impact.

In this role, you will grow in a fast-moving environment, and build a working understanding of YouTube internal processes, products, and teams. You will support your team in deepening relationships with key partners and creators, helping them optimize and adopt features, enabling YouTube to be successful. You will develop your skills in relationship-building, negotiation, project management, and collaboration, focusing on tasks that contribute to your team's and organization's goals.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $73500 - $103000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
