Job summary

UNICO Group is seeking a Property & Casualty Claims Advocate to lead complex claims from reporting to resolution. You will analyze coverage, negotiate favorable outcomes, and partner with clients, carriers, legal counsel, and internal teams to protect client interests.

You will build strong client relationships, advocate for clients during denials, propose post-claim strategies, and help manage risk through clear communication and collaboration across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years handling complex liability claims; 5–7 years preferred.
• Current P&C license or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• AIC or other insurance designations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build strong client relationships and understand business risks.
• Advocate between clients and carrier partners.
• Respond to client questions through the claim lifecycle.
• Challenge coverage positions when appropriate.
• Negotiate settlements and claim resolutions.
• Lead reviews with carriers and risk advisors.
• Document activities in agency management system.
