Job summary

City of Tucson, Department of Planning and Development Services, seeks a Business Operations Administrator to ensure efficient department operations. You will coordinate financial processes, systems, technology, and customer service, under the Director, while supervising division staff.

Responsibilities include improving workflows, managing budgets, procuring services, and liaising with central City departments to ensure compliant operations and strategic delivery of services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Five (5) years of relevant experience; equivalency allowed on a year-for-year basis.
• License: valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers daily operations, aligning financial and operational practices with goals.
• Supports Tucson Development Center operations and optimizes processes.
• Coordinates performance metrics and customer feedback to guide leadership.
• Oversees IT functions and staff to align with department priorities.
