The Role

As a member of the Fidelity Wealth Technology, Planning, Operations, and Enablement team, you’ll be a part of a highly collaborative, engaged, and diverse team of technology enablement leaders. You’ll be a trusted partner to senior technology leadership, enabling seamless executive routines and consistent processes that support strategic planning, workforce, and delivery management. In combination, these routines and processes provide senior leadership with powerful opportunities to drive alignment of strategy, work, and people, forecast delivery associate capacity and financial planning, and foster a culture of engagement. In partnership with cross-functional leaders and teams, you’ll ensure these opportunities are achieved with consistency, standardization, and efficiency. Additionally, you’ll gain deeper business acumen and IT product knowledge within the organizations you support, enabling you to consult, collaborate, and advocate on behalf of the organization across Wealth Technology and beyond.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, computer or system engineering, or related field; MBA a plus
  • 10 years+ experience in technology delivery, portfolio management & planning and/or project management experience
  • Strategy, planning, and governance within a technology organization, with skills in using data to tell a strong cohesive story
  • Designing and implementing business strategies, plans and procedures to support the leader
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills with expertise conveying complex information and data simply and meaningfully
  • Attention to detail and outstanding organization and coordination skills to lead, coordinate, and facilitate ongoing executive routines and materials that enable strategic organizational management and decision making
  • Adopting and implementing policies that promote organization goals and vision
  • Managing relationships with partners/vendors
  • Multi-year planning and budgeting knowledge and proficiency such as Quarterly Business Review (QBR) and Quarterly Technology Review (QTR) preferred
  • Experience working with teams to develop objectives and connect initiatives / planned work
  • Deep understanding of various technology execution frameworks and methodologies, as well as technology delivery tools like Jira, Jira Align, ServiceNOW
  • Demonstrated strength and experience driving technology projects and deep working knowledge of DevOps practices, and SDLC (software development lifecycle)
  • Organizational proficiency and a proactive, creative, and collaborative approach to enable the solutioning of strategic business issues with various levels of leadership and associates across many disciplines
  • Ability to facilitate discussions at all levels of the organization, including executive leadership
  • Critical thinker and problem-solver with the ability to design, implement, and optimize routines, processes, and materials for greater efficiency and effectiveness, in a fast paced, multifaceted environment
  • Continuously strengthening Fidelity’s values and team-oriented culture through collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity to deliver clarity and mobilize solutioning
  • Strong instinct for collaboration, an active listener, and strong communicator
