Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Senior Finance Manager, Oncology Finance to lead the financial performance of a co-commercialized oncology asset. You will own SG&A planning, alliance financial consolidation, and partner with R&D and commercial leaders to translate numbers into strategic insights.

You will manage US P&L, forecasts, month-end close, and reporting, coordinate the alliance financial working group, ensure GAAP compliance, and develop a direct report.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.
• 8+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in pharma/biopharma.
• At least 2 years of people-management experience.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment without direct authority.
• Strong financial planning, modeling, budgeting, forecasting, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel/PowerPoint and experience with enterprise planning systems such as BPC.
• Experience with SAP and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead AbbVie financial consolidation for the oncology collaboration, including forecasts and profit-share statements.
• Coordinate the Financial Working Group, reporting, governance meetings, and deliverables across AbbVie and alliance.
• Reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual profit-share and cost-share calculations with R&D Alliance Finance.
• Manage U.S. therapeutics P&L consolidation, including net sales, SG&A, and cost allocations.
• Support alliance-related audit, compliance, and internal control requirements.
• Own end-to-end SG&A planning for the U.S. oncology business, including Annual Plan, LBE, and Long-Range Plan.
• Deliver monthly/quarterly actuals, variance analysis, forecasts, and leadership commentary.
• Advise commercial leaders on SG&A investments, priorities, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Brand Finance, FP&A, Commercial Center of Finance, and R&D Finance on alliance matters.
• Lead, coach, and develop one direct report.
