General Dynamics IT seeks a Strategic Nuclear Arms Control Subject Matter Expert (SME) to advise on implementing arms control activities related to New START and other treaties. You will work with DTRA leadership and interagency partners to ensure safety and security while delivering expert guidance.

Eligible candidates hold a TS/SCI clearance, a Master's degree, and have 15+ years of relevant experience, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Job Description

Ensure the safety and security of our nation as a Strategic Nuclear Arms Control Subject Matter Expert (SME) at GDIT. You'll be at the leading edge of advising the Defense Threat Reduction agency on the implementation of strategic arms control activities related to the New START Treaty and other arms control treaties and agreements. HOW A STRATEGIC NUCLEAR ARMS CONTOL SME WILL MAKE AN IMPACT :

• Analyzes, defines, and develops national security information regarding various weapon expertise and how they impact the country's safety
• Work with the DTRA leadership and representatives from other government agencies in the arms control community
• Analyze the impact of treaties and agreements on national security objectives
• Advise DTRA on implementation of programs and plans related to treaties and agreements
• Provide technical advice to US government arms control community

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: Masters of Arts or Science
• Required Experience: 15+ years of related experience
• Required Technical Skills: Must have 5 or more years of experience directly supporting the New START implementation through arms control interagency liaison activities
• Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI
• Required Skills and Abilities: Strong analytic and communications skills
• Preferred Skills: Expertise in US-Russia relations
• Location: Remote
• US Citizenship Required due to the TS/SCI clearance

The likely salary range for this position is $153,000 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
