Job summary

SMS DATA PRODUCTS GROUP, INC is seeking a Modeling & Simulation Engineer to lead AFCENT network modeling efforts and support mission critical air and cyberspace communications. You will develop network models from existing architectures using management data and simulation tools to inform engineering decisions.

The role requires BS in a related field or 7+ years of experience, Unix/Linux proficiency, and DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain interim clearance.

Qualifications

• BS in a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience (or 7+ years).
• Unix/Linux experience.
• Clearance: DoD Secret or ability to obtain Interim Secret.
• Experience with Microsoft server installation roles and Active Directory.

Responsibilities

• Utilize modeling and simulation tools to develop network models from existing architectures.
• Develop and run simulations to analyze technology integration impacts.
• Research and design wide area networks and update existing networks.
• Provide technical support for upgrades and new technology integrations.
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency with automation across NOSC areas.
• Coordinate with enclave teams to automate network systems engineering processes.
• Develop and implement programming tools to deploy network infrastructures.
• Manage and configure advanced network management toolsets to collect data.
