Malvern Panalytical is seeking a Director of Procurement to lead U.S. and Canada procurement, aligning with global priorities. Based in Norcross, GA, you’ll shape strategies across multiple sites and collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, R&D, and Finance to optimize costs and resilience.

You will drive supplier performance, negotiations, and risk management while mentoring a high‑performing team and advancing sustainability throughout the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of procurement or supply chain experience.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing procurement functions and teams.
• Experience leading procurement activities across multiple manufacturing locations.
• Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
• Experience with ERP and procurement platforms such as SAP, Ariba, or similar systems.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute the North American procurement strategy aligned with business objectives and global procurement priorities.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and cost reduction programs.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to improve performance, manage risk, and ensure continuity of supply.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, R&D, and Finance teams to support operational efficiency and new product introductions.
• Drive supplier performance management through measurable KPIs, continuous improvement initiatives, and regular business reviews.
• Lead procurement activities across multiple sites in the United States and Canada, ensuring consistent processes, governance, and best practices.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks while strengthening resilience across the supplier network.
• Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing procurement team focused on collaboration, accountability, and results.
• Support sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement efforts throughout the supply chain.
