Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to engage with scientific experts in the field, provide advanced disease state and product knowledge, and support Lilly's strategic scientific messaging. The role requires robust presentation skills, literature identification expertise, and ability to work independently in a field-based setting.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in health sciences (PharmD, MD, PhD) required with 2–3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic area experience. Masters or Bachelor’s level degree in health sciences considered if 5+ years clinical, research or industry experience in relevant therapeutic area is present.
• Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record required; ability to travel up to 80% and weekends as needed.
• Strong presentation and computer skills with expertise in literature identification.

Responsibilities

• Engage in field-based scientific exchange with SEs and other Lilly stakeholders to inform strategic decisions.
• Provide deep disease state and product information to medical and scientific experts.
• Collaborate with internal resources and cross-functional teams to identify research opportunities and external collaborations.
• Travel up to 80% and participate in weekend engagements as required.
