Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a professional to manage a subset of a merchandising category and optimize assortment through data and financial projections. You will work with merchants to implement supplier strategies and improve product representation across channels.

The role emphasizes data analysis, collaboration across Marketing, Sales, Inventory Management, Operations, Customer Service, and Digital Commerce to execute category strategies and resolve business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, category management, procurement, supply chain, inventory planning, product management, business analytics, sales operations, marketing analytics, or a related business function preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inputs and maintains data in merchandising systems.
• Analyses financial data and forecasts growth and merchandising opportunities.
• Reviews competitive market data for assigned merchandising categories.
• Performs administrative duties including SKU lifecycle management and vendor meeting prep.
• Supports merchant team with category management and resolving issues.
• Produces reports and analyses for vendor meetings and negotiations.
• Conducts root cause analysis for supply and demand forecast variances and collaborates with internal teams.
