Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. in Mooresville, NC is seeking an Assortment Planning Analyst to serve as the category analyst for line reviews and run the business initiatives.

You will partner with merchandising, finance, and supply chain to deliver data-driven assortment decisions for the department. Under the Merchandising Assortment Planning Manager, you will develop localization and assortment optimization strategies, identify white space, and create stocking matrices to support profitable growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in merchandising or related field.
• 3+ years in merchandising, assortment planning, or related work experience.
• Experience in a large retail organization and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency with assortment planning software (SAS, JDA, Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Assist with line reviews and develop assortment strategies aligned with business goals.
• Create milestones for line reviews to ensure key deadlines and deliverables.
• Support localization and regional assortment optimization.
• Identify white space opportunities to drive new product initiatives.
• Analyze customer landscape and assortment gaps to inform expansion and adjustments.
