Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism, or related field is required.
• 5–10 years of writing/editing medical or academic material.
• BELS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional writing, editing, and content development for academic communications.
• Support manuscript preparation and publication management.
• Produce executive communications for departmental leadership.
• Collect, analyze, and report publication data and other academic metrics.

Education

Bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism, or related field

Master's degree preferred

Certification by the Board of Editors in the Life Sciences (BELS) preferred
