Job summary

Apple Inc. in Austin, Texas seeks a World Class Materials Program Manager to ensure materials readiness, availability, and visibility for the Procurement org.

This strategic role engages with Contract Manufacturers and internal teams to plan critical components, allocation, and risk management across programs and lines of business. You will develop CTB management, create allocation models, and partner with sourcing to optimize material flow and revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Operations, or related analytical field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in supply chain operations, materials management, procurement, or manufacturing planning.
• Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in spreadsheet modeling (Excel/Numbers) for supply/demand matching, forecasting, and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Manage CTB (clear to build) process with suppliers and OEMs to ensure visibility on procurement strategy.
• Partner with CM to develop models for supply chain and materials flow to support availability planning.
• Create allocation strategies for constrained materials and provide direction to Global Supply Managers and Apple Suppliers.
• Influence Demand Planning and Strategic Sourcing to improve allocation and maximize revenue.
• Identify material risks and drive mitigation actions with leadership.
• Develop strategic roadmap for phase-out of obsolete parts and new product materials.
• Communicate critical materials updates at weekly executive reviews with timely data.
