Job summary

Bloom Energy in Newark, DE is seeking a Materials Planning Manager to lead end-to-end materials planning in a fully on-site role, reporting to the Senior Manager, Material Planning & Purchasing. You will coordinate with Production Control, Procurement and Scheduling to ensure material availability while optimizing inventory.

You will drive improvements in MRP accuracy, manage inventory health, mentor a team of planners, and establish KPI-driven performance in a fast-growing manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in materials planning, production scheduling, or supply chain related in a manufacturing environment.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience managing planning or supply chain teams.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end materials planning to support manufacturing.
• Oversee MRP system performance and data integrity.
• Improve planning accuracy through master data attributes and parameters.
• Streamline PO signals and automate planning processes.
• Mitigate material shortages and supply risks.
• Create and manage material dashboards and monitor inventory health.
• Collaborate with MRP Control, Production Control, Procurement and Scheduling.
• Lead a team of material planners and establish KPIs.
