Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with focus that complements job position.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in materials functions in manufacturing operations.
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives and TPS or similar.
• Strong analytical and communication skills and good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and control the materials department to ensure on-time production and shipping.
• Sourcing, inventory control and ERP/MRP management to optimize turns and service levels.
• Develop supplier relationships and coordinate with central planning for service levels and working capital targets.
• Issue purchase orders, manage invoicing and report budget adherence.
• Oversee annual physical inventory or cycle counting as directed.
