Job summary

Trane Technologies, a global leader in climate solutions, seeks a Material Planner for our La Crosse, WI site. You will manage raw material and component purchasing and ensure timely delivery to support assembly operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control, warehousing, or purchasing.
• Exposure to manufacturing, quality control, production planning, warehousing, or inventory control.
• Experience with major ERP platforms / manufacturing databases.
• Great written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define delivery method for purchased raw material and components and maintain inventory levels.
• Partner with material planning, scheduling, engineering, quality, finance and assembly operations.
• Resolve problems related to receiving, putaway, picking, and transferring raw material and components.
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities in material flow.
• Support inventory management, data accuracy and operational effectiveness.
• Engage in life-cycle initiatives and supplier sourcing changes.
• Participate in lean problem-solving projects to create standard work.
