Job summary

Georg Fischer Central Plastics LLC is seeking a Materials Handling Supervisor to lead warehouse operations, ensure safety, quality and inventory accuracy, and coordinate with production schedules. You will set daily and weekly team objectives, coach staff, hire and onboard, and work with logistics and ERP systems (SAP) to optimize material movements.

Lean initiatives and 6S will be part of your ongoing improvement efforts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

5+ years of supervising experience in material handling or shipping.
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in logistics execution and transportation planning.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Set daily, weekly, monthly objectives for the team.
Coordinate with operations and logistic management to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
Coach and train team members and support resolution of logistical operation constraints.
Maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Manage transfer and shipping orders within ERP and Process Weaver systems.
participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives including a 6S system throughout the warehouse area.
Adhere to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OSHAS 18001 standards.
