Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is looking for a Senior Specialist in Marketing Procurement to drive strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract oversight, and cross-functional collaboration across Advertising, Media, Market Research, PR, Branding, Creative/Design, Communications, Print and Events within the Animal Health division.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement/sourcing for marketing services, strong analytics, and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams, enabling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, or related.
• 5+ years in procurement/sourcing/marketing services or related; experience with sourcing events, negotiations, and contract management.
• Knowledge of Marketing Services categories; strong analytical/problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of sourcing strategies; conduct supplier/industry/market analysis for value creation, innovation, risk mitigation, and cost optimization.
• Lead or support competitive sourcing events (RFI, RFP) and supplier evaluations; analyze spending trends and market intelligence.
• Build and maintain supplier and stakeholder relationships; monitor KPIs and support supplier business reviews.
• Support development, review, negotiation, execution, and management of supplier agreements and SOWs; partner with Legal to ensure policy alignment; monitor renewals.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, Communications, Finance, Legal, and other teams to understand objectives and procurement needs.
• Identify and mitigate supplier/contractual/operational/commercial risks; support due diligence and risk assessments; ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Identify improvements to sourcing and supplier performance; contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
