Job summary

Dynatrace is seeking a strategic Marketing Operations Manager to design, implement, and optimize marketing processes across the customer and prospect lifecycle. Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, design, and optimization of the end-to-end lead and customer lifecycle, ensuring scalable processes.
  • Lead lifecycle workflows for PLG from trial to expansion and activation.
  • Optimize automated programs for engagement, adoption, and retention.
  • Develop lead, account, product scoring, routing, and nurture frameworks.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions for efficiency.
  • Collaborate with product, growth marketing, SDR, sales, CS, and analytics teams.

Dynatrace is seeking a strategic Marketing Operations Manager to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of marketing operational processes across the customer and prospect lifecycle. This role is focused on building the next generation of scalable workflows while continuously improving existing processes that drive lead management align to product lead growth, database health, data governance, and operational excellence.

  • The ideal candidate combines process design expertise with strong technical and business acumen. You will partner closely with Marketing , SDR Operations, Business Operations, Sales Operations, Analytics, and IT teams to identify operational gaps, streamline processes, improve data quality, and create automated workflows that accelerate lead conversion and improve go-to-market efficiency.

  • This is a highly cross-functional role responsible for ensuring that lifecycle processes, data governance standards, and operational workflows scale with the evolving needs of the business. This aligns with Dynatrace's focus on lifecycle management, lead routing, lead scoring, database governance, and workflow automation

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the strategy, design, and optimization of the end-to-end lead and customer lifecycle, ensuring scalable processes from initial engagement through opportunity creation, customer expansion, and advocacy through integration of CDP tooling

  • Lead the operational strategy for Customer lifecycle (PLG), including trial, playground, product sign-up, product-qualified lead (PQL), activation, adoption, conversion, and expansion workflows.

  • Optimize and expand automated lifecycle programs that drive prospect engagement, product adoption, lead qualification, customer growth, and retention.

  • Develop and optimize lead scoring, account scoring, product scoring, lifecycle progression, routing, matching, recycling, and nurture frameworks to improve funnel velocity and conversion rates.

  • Identify operational bottlenecks across the lead and product growth lifecycle and implement scalable solutions that improve user experience, sales alignment, and operational efficiency.

  • Partner with Product, Growth Marketing, SDR Operations, Sales, Customer Success, Business Operations, and Analytics teams to design lifecycle journeys and automated handoff processes that support pipeline and revenue growth.

  • Serve as the business owner for lifecycle automation, translating business requirements into scalable workflows across Salesforce, Marketo, LeanData, and other go-to-market technologies.

  • Establish and govern database health programs focused on data quality, enrichment, normalization, deduplication, compliance, consent management, and lifecycle data integrity.

  • Define, monitor, and automate database health KPIs, including completeness, accuracy, duplicate rates, lifecycle hygiene, deliverability, and conversion readiness.

  • Evaluate and implement new technologies, AI-driven automation opportunities, and operational innovations that improve lifecycle performance and reduce manual effort.

  • Provide strategy to analytics team to build dashboards and reporting that provide visibility into lifecycle conversion, PQL performance, database health, SLA compliance, routing effectiveness, and funnel progression.

  • Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives that align marketing, product, and revenue teams around a common lifecycle framework and scalable growth model

  • Create and maintain clear operational documentation

  • Build 6-12 month operational roadmap for area of operational focus

Minimum Requirements Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, Marketing Technology, or Revenue Operations.

  • Strong knowledge of database management, data governance, data quality programs, enrichment processes, compliance requirements, and CRM hygiene practices

  • Strong analytical skills with experience defining metrics and evaluating tool performance and ROI.

  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex operational challenges into clear business recommendations.

  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Experience gathering business requirements, mapping processes, documenting solutions, conducting UAT, and driving stakeholder adoption.

  • Advance experience with Marketo, 6sense, LeanData, PowerBI, Salesforce

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting a hybrid demand generation and product-led growth go-to-market model.

  • Experience building lifecycle frameworks for trials, freemium products, self-service adoption, or digital customer journeys.

  • Familiarity with AI-driven workflow automation, predictive scoring, and data enrichment technologies.

  • Experience leading database health initiatives and large-scale process transformation efforts across global organizations.

Compensation and Rewards

The targeted base pay range for this role is $148K (min) to $185K (mid). When determining your salary, we consider your skills, experience, education, work location and internal equity.
