Marathon Petroleum Corporation in Findlay, OH seeks a Marketing Credit Risk Manager to lead the credit risk function for the customer portfolio in Brand/Wholesale/Asphalt rack. You will oversee a team of analysts, evaluate customer financial strength, set credit limits and security, and drive risk strategies to support growth while protecting assets.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Marketing or related field is required.
Five years of relevant experience; credit, commercial and leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Credit Analysts responsible for managing credit risk and assessing the credit quality of Marathon’s customer base.
Conduct financial reviews to determine appropriate credit limits and security for customers.
Monitor customer credit limits and take action if limits are exceeded.
Develop strategies to strengthen relationships with Commercial, Accounting and Treasury to mitigate risk.
Foster internal relationships with commercial groups associated with the customers assigned.
Oversee staff development in staff including professional, market/industry, commercial, and credit risk.
