Job summary

Precision Castparts Corporation (PCC) is seeking a hands-on Controller for Wyman-Gordon in Mountaintop, PA, overseeing multi-site financial planning, accounting, and internal controls.

This role reports to the Plant General Manager with a dotted line to the Division VP of Finance, and requires strong leadership to improve profitability and cash flow through robust budgeting and SOX compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 5–10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and SOX compliance experience.
• Expertise in budgeting, planning, standard costing and internal controls.
• Leadership, coaching and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with Oracle ERP.

Responsibilities

• Advise General Manager as strategic partner on forecasts and initiatives.
• Oversee financial statements, audits, budgets and forecasts.
• Manage Accounting department operations and staff; safeguard assets.
• Develop and monitor policies aligning with profitability and cash flow.
• Prepare timely reports on sales, earnings, working capital and cash.
• Coordinate with Division and Corporate finance to meet objectives.
• Lead SOX compliance and internal controls as Ethics Officer.
