The role emphasizes supplier performance, inventory effectiveness, data-driven problem solving, and cross-functional partnerships to reduce costs and improve delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, safety stock strategies, and replenishment practices.
• Experience working with ERP/MES systems.
• Advanced analytical skills and strong Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day procurement of materials and services that support production and customer commitments.
• Create, issue, and manage purchase orders while ensuring supplier compliance with delivery requirements.
• Track supplier performance and address delivery issues before they impact operations.
• Expedite critical materials to keep production schedules on track.
• Resolve shortages, pricing discrepancies, invoicing concerns, and supplier communication challenges.
• Work closely with Planning, Operations, and Customer Service to align purchasing activities with production priorities.
• Identify material shortages and supply risks and develop solutions.
• Help optimize inventory levels while maintaining material availability to meet customer demand.
• Participate in cross-functional planning discussions and business reviews.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
