Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year university is preferred
• 3–5 years of Purchasing/Materials experience in a manufacturing environment
• ERP software experience required, Acumatica a plus
• Ability to handle multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Purchase materials needed to support production activities and new product development
• Manage raw material inventories to meet financial targets
• Negotiate with suppliers for best cost, delivery, and terms
• Develop and maintain supplier relations; certify new suppliers and drive improvements
• Work to consolidate vendors where possible
• Establish process and policy improvements to improve the vendor base
• Collaborate with supply chain team to develop and execute purchasing strategies
