Job summary

AmeriVet is seeking a strategic and highly collaborative Manager, Talent Acquisition Programs to design, lead, and scale national programs that strengthen our early career engine and elevate the AmeriVet brand and employee value proposition. This role focuses on College of Veterinary Medicine engagement, technician training, externships, and a national conference strategy.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of campus recruiting, early career programs, university relations, or related program management experience.
  • Experience building or scaling early career, internship, externship, student engagement, technician training, or workforce pipeline programs.
  • Strong strategic planning, project management, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with clinical, business, marketing, and talent acquisition leaders to design and execute high-impact programs.
  • Experience developing employer brand or candidate engagement strategies that support awareness, attraction, and conversion.
  • Expertise using data, reporting, and funnel metrics to evaluate program performance and inform decisions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Veterinary, healthcare, higher education, or national conference strategy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of Talent Acquisition programs that support early career hiring goals.
  • Serve as a strategic partner translating organizational goals into scalable programs that drive pipeline growth and conversion.
  • Develop program roadmaps, success metrics, timelines, and stakeholder alignment plans.
  • Identify opportunities to improve candidate journeys across early career, conference, and engagement channels.
  • Use data and insights to measure program effectiveness and prioritize high-impact initiatives.
  • Build and manage the early career talent engine with College of Veterinary Medicine engagement and technician training.
  • Collaborate with Medicine and DVM Engagement leaders to align initiatives with broader engagement and retention goals.
  • Create scalable programs connecting veterinarians and technicians with AmeriVet hospitals, mentors, and career pathways.
  • Track funnel activity, engagement, application flow, offers, and conversions to refine strategies.
  • Develop and lead a national conference engagement strategy and employer branding efforts.
  • Partner with Marketing on conference messaging, booth experience, lead capture, and follow-up.
  • Establish repeatable processes for conference planning, execution, and post-event nurture.
  • Foster cross-functional partnerships to ensure programs support hiring goals with excellence.
  • Prepare insights linking program activity to hiring goals, brand awareness, and ROI.
