Job summary

The State of Nevada is seeking a Management Analyst 2 to support multiple units including Pharmacy, Office of Analytics, SHARP, and Audit within the Nevada Health Authority. The role emphasizes contract compliance, data analysis, and grant administration to ensure high program quality and cost effectiveness.

Based in Carson City, Reno, or Las Vegas, the position requires strong analytical skills, collaboration with agencies and vendors, and the ability to supervise staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of applicable experience and graduation from high school or equivalent education.
• Ability to perform fiscal and cost analyses and audits related to program operations.
• Experience supporting Medicaid or health-care contracts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analyze legislative implications.
• Review and monitor contracts.
• Develop and recommend policy and procedure improvements.
• Prepare reports and correspondence.
• Supervise staff and oversee program operations where applicable.
• Assist with budget projections and cost analyses.
