Job summary

Kautex is seeking a Cost Accountant to manage standard costing, overhead and labor rates, and SAP data such as BOMs and routings. You will verify POs, track inventory, and coordinate month-end activities while supporting program and sales teams.

The role requires a BS/BA in accounting or related experience, supervisory skills, and strong Excel and communication abilities to interact with senior management. On-site position in Georgia.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in accounting or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced computer and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standard cost system.
• Calculate and maintain standard cost overhead and labor rates.
• Roll standard cost in SAP annually.
• Maintain and update all part numbers, BOMs and routings in SAP.
• Verify all customer POs for accuracy including price, tooling, rework.
• Make changes in cost system through ECN process.
• Maintain SAP Perpetual Inventory and review inventory transactions.
• Coordinate physical inventories and prepare month-end entries.
• Prepare forecasts and reports for management deadlines.
• Assist Program & Sales Managers with customer quotes and CAR submissions.
• Maintain communications with internal departments and external suppliers/customers.
• Investigate causes of errors and risks to avoid negative impacts.
• Complete AOP and SBR sales, deductions and COS items.
• Monitor pricing with CBU sales and manage pricing accruals.
