Job summary

Central Health Foundation seeks a Sr. Director of Major Gifts to lead the major-gifts function, develop donor strategies, and manage a portfolio of prospects through qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.

The role reports to the Foundation CEO, drives revenue forecasts, and partners with executives on transformational gifts, while building a high-performing major-gifts team in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of major gifts or related fundraising experience.
• Experience soliciting and closing significant gifts.
• Experience partnering with senior executives and boards.
• Experience with campaigns (capital or multiyear).

Responsibilities

• Develop multiyear major-gifts strategy aligned with priorities.
• Personally solicit assigned major-gift prospects and lead executive involvement.
• Prepare proposals, briefs, and solicitation materials.
• Lead major-gifts dashboards, forecasting, and reporting.
• Coordinate donor engagement with senior leadership and volunteers.
• Build and lead the major-gifts team.
