Job summary

Genesys in Menlo Park is seeking a Corporate Development Associate to support buy-side M&A, due diligence, and strategic initiatives. You will analyze targets, build business cases, and help manage cross-functional diligence and integration tasks.

The role reports to the Head of Corporate Development and works with a team driving AI-enabled strategy across acquisitions, minority investments, and partnerships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of relevant experience in finance or corporate development.
• Analyst program completion preferred.
• M&A deal experience or exposure is preferred.
• Experience in the enterprise software industry is preferred; CX exposure is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Strategy: collect competitive intelligence and map industry segments.
• Sourcing: identify potential acquisition targets from general thesis.
• Evaluation: conduct qualitative/quantitative analyses and support business case.
• Deal execution: assist in due diligence, analytics and documentation for executives.
• Integration: support integration team with knowledge transfer and projects.
