Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. is seeking a Pricing Analyst in our New York area to quote US Air and Sea shipments within the established pricing framework.

You will collaborate with regions, sales, and operations to support growth and retention, while analyzing data to optimize pricing strategies. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in pricing/analytics in transportation, strong problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in a pricing or analytical role in the transportation and logistics industry.
6+ years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with large amounts of data.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.

Responsibilities

Produce accurate and timely quotes within the defined pricing system to support Operations or Sales Customer requests.
Work closely with sales and operations teams to understand customer needs and develop pricing proposals that meet those needs.
Analyze pricing data and trends to identify areas where pricing strategies need attention and optimization.
Monitor individual pricing performance and identify areas where improvements are needed to win business.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that pricing strategies align with overall business objectives.
Support the maintenance of the pricing databases.
